it's the worst thing knowing you are approximately 1,200 miles away from someone when there are things that you need to say, things you need to get off your chest, but mostly, things you need to hear. i feel like someone has taken that essence of me that only i have, the one thing i fell back on when everything else seemed to be impossibly strange. and i don't know where i am. i have no one to talk to and i am 19 hours away from my boy. i watch my so-called friends and their boyfriends having sleepovers and holidays and 4 hour phone calls with their boyfriends even though they are about 10 minutes away. and i wonder when it's my turn. and most importantly, i wonder how i lost it.

i'm right here, i've always been right here. i miss clumsy kisses in the dark.
i've convinced myself if i buy a bag i will be an all round better person. i want a tattoo. i want sleepovers and falling so fast that you feel sick. i want rollercoasters and lying in the sun, being made fun of and not caring, nice arms to encase myself in, rock n roll and a second family.

i often think about whether i have changed someones life. even in a tiny tiny way. like a teensy snippet of knowledge that has somehow in someway affected someones day. or week. or even slightly altered their life.
i keep trying so hard to relate myself to other people that i sometimes forget who i actually am, that i am nothing like anyone else and situations in my life, no matter how much i convince myself they are, are nothing like anyone elses. i need something different to happen. i'm sick of the same old things.
i feel like i am on prozac. it's easier to stay quiet than to say what you actually think. i love my boyfriend for listening to me moan on.
someone should drink posh cocktails with me. please.

 i want to do something worthwhile.
i've known my best friend for 3 years today. i bought him a cupcake and drew a 3 on it in red icing. we went to the baltic mills to see the new yoshitomo nara exhibition, it was fantastic. i can't believe it's been 3 years.
i need to buy new ukulele strings.

sid & cassie make me smile. i just love cassie's lost weeks video, counting the stones for each day she hasn't seen sid. adorable :)
on saturday a boy got hit by a van infront of me. i burst into tears and couldn't stop shaking. i am ridiculous in situations like that. a man standing next to me called an ambulace while a lady made sure he was concious and breathing. he was. he was talking and saying his side and leg hurt. i was so worried. i do hope he's okay.
